📲SIM CARDS

If you want a local number or service, you can sign up for a pre-paid data and/or minute plan and activate an e-SIM or install a new SIM card.

Main cellular providers in KSA are STC, Mobily and Zain.  

Please note; you can not accept or dial out Whatsapp calls in KSA on cellular networks (they are blocked). To use your phone, you can either install and enable a VPN or use FaceTime Audio or direct cellular calling (not Whatsapp).

📶WIFI

Hi speed WiFi will be available:

·       In all accommodation rooms

·       In all public/common areas of Accommodation (restaurant, lobby, and most leisure areas)

·       Throughout most areas of the BaladBeast site, including within office spaces

🔏VPN

It is not required, however, you can download a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to view some content in KSA. There are free app versions for mobile or desktop. Proton VPN is a free app that routes through the US. Note: You will not be able to download a VPN once in Saudi, the websites are blocked so do that before you depart your home country
